Trend Talk: Flower Power

It’s officially spring! Here in Minnesota it can be chilly or warm, it all depends on the day. I’m definitely looking forward to patio season, even if it’s a mere 30 degrees today! In the spirit of the season, I’ve decided to be brave and wear things I wouldn’t have in the past. For example, while I love a good floral top, an all over floral print dress is a little out-there for me. But when I was shopping with a friend recently, I saw the cutest floral dress. What caught my eye first was the long sleeves, which is perfect for Minnesota spring (or fall!). Sandals will go great with the dress in spring, and I can add tights in the fall and winter to make a warmer outfit. It’s very transitional! On this semi-cold day I wore it to a coffee date with a friend at my local kitchen and bakery called yum. I even got a compliment!
