New Year, New Beginnings

Happy New Year, ladies!

I hope you all had a memorable 2017. Looking back, it was the best year of my life. I got engaged, found my dream wedding dress and even gained an adorable, little nephew. With all the changes happening, I know 2018 is shaping up to be even better.

Speaking of changes, I decided to make a change myself. Normally I do not participate in jotting down New Year’s resolutions (mainly because I can never seem to hold myself accountable for more than a week), but there’s a first for everything, right? So here are my top resolutions for 2018:

Resolution #1

Be more grateful. To help with this goal, I am waking up every morning and immediately thinking of 3 things I’m grateful for. If you haven’t tried this technique, I highly recommend it! It makes all other everyday troubles or concerns seem so insignificant.

Resolution #2

Be more active. Okay let’s be honest, Netflix sounds way better than a treadmill. But I’m beginning to realize the more consistently I stay active, the better I feel. Hello, endorphins! Recently, I have picked up Pilates at my local fitness center Club Pilates and I have to admit… I kind of really like it.
