Apple Orchard Adventures

Looking for a fun fall family activity or a fun date day? Every autumn I like to visit at least one local apple orchard, but this fall I’ve been lucky enough to visit two! First, I headed to an apple orchard/vineyard combination. It came with great reviews from a coworker. My boyfriend and I put on our perfect plaid shirts and packed up the dog for the outdoor adventure! Deardoff Orchards and Vineyards was so much fun! It had live music, a bonfire and wine—what else could you need?!

The second apple orchard I visited was just as fun. Minnetonka Orchards (see photos) had so many different activities! Most apple orchards are dog-friendly and all are kid-friendly, a win-win for people with or without kids!

Everyone who knows me knows I love my dog Aspen. I mean, it’s borderline obsessive (I would bring her to work every day if I could). Aspen got to tag along for this blog post. She’ll need to become a better listener if she ever wants to make the blog again, but I can’t complain, the day was perfect! It was about 65 degrees, so I got to wear my favorite leather boots and crossover sweatshirt. We picked some apples, ate donuts, picked some more apples and saw some cute farm animals!

I highly suggest taking your family, friends and dog to your local apple orchard or pumpkin patch to fully experience autumn. What’s your favorite fall activity? Share with us in the comments!
